My Paper Pumpkin - July 2015 Thanks A Latte Card Kit with Alternate Ideas!

I have been having so much fun with My Paper Pumpkin and everything else that Stampin' Up! has to offer that I signed up to be a demonstrator! You can use my referral link here to join in on the crafty fun with My Paper Pumpkin today!

The July 2015 Kit titled Thanks A Latte came with all the supplies needed to make 8 cards with envelopes.  I added a few supplies from my stash and stretched my kit to make 12 cards.  I just adored this kit!  It is certainly my favorite so far!  Every month My Paper Pumpkin just keeps getting better and better!  I already ordered a refill kit!

I decided to show you all of my cards together in one post this time, rather than break it up into separate posts like I did last month.  So, be warned, this is a long one! So grab a cup of coffee... or a latte ;) and let's get started!

First off, I wanted to show you a closer look at everything you get in the kit.

My Paper Pumpkin arrives in a bright red box with aqua tissue paper.  A monthly gift of creative awesomeness :)

Every month you get a different photopolymer stamp set and at least one little ink pad.  This month we got two! Early Espresso and Cucumber Crush.

The rest of the kit contents come shrink wrapped with instructions.  This is the only part you will receive when you order a refill kit.  Stampin' Up! sometimes offers refill kits of popular kits, and only to My Paper Pumpkin Subscribers. The refill kits contain everything from the original kit except for the stamp set and ink pads.  There are refills available now for this kit and I already ordered mine!

You get 8 pre-scored card bases

You also get 8 matching envelopes

8 Die Cuts for layering

8 Patterned Papers for layering
8 Ribbon bows pre-tied on Paper Clips

And I looove that they included 12 Die Cut cups in case you make a mistake stamping.  I usually do, but I got everything lined up easily this time so I used all 12 to make 12 cards.

Sticker sheet with 16 Stickers

And Adhesive!!! Stampin' Dimensionals for the cards and 3M sticky strips for the envelopes.

So now what did I make?!?

First, I made 2 cards following the instructions exactly.  That usually gets my creativity flowing :)

Then, I made another 2 cards stepping it up just a bit.  I added a layer of Tangelo Twist card stock and a layer of Cucumber Crush card stock.

For my next 2 cards (for some reason I was creating in pairs today) I flipped the cards orientation and added in some washi tape (both now on the clearance rack) and some Cucumber Crush Designer Series Paper.

I really like trying to use the negative space from the die cut sheets and I really like how it turned out!  I also made 2 cards like this one.

I made two of these cards, too.  I really love the font on this paper!  These are so, so simple and I really think it is the patterned paper that makes this card.  I'm loving the washi tape, too.

And for my last 2 cards I really wanted to try to use up a lot of my scraps.  I stamped the succulent onto a scrap of Cucumber crush card stock so I didn't have to color it either.  I used a scrap of Tangelo Twist to ground the cup.  I wrapped a piece of washi around it and attached another scrap from the negative space of the die cut sheet.  I think it came out well! Kinda funky :)

Here's a quick recap of all 12 cards made with My Paper Pumpkin kit plus a few supplies linked below!
