I am so excited to be joining the Creative Team for the Awesome Ladies Project!!! The class is taught by the amazingly talented feminist scrapbooker, Kristin from rukristin.com. The ALP is a year long class with weekly scrapbooking challenges designed to inspire YOU (yes, YOU Awesome Lady!) to document your life!
I have told you guys before, and I'll say it again... Scrapbooking, Memory Keeping, Life Documenting, whatever you want to call it, has been so personally rewarding for me. We crafters joke that it is cheaper than therapy (and that might not even be true! lol) but it really is therapy! The creative process, the act of playing with stamps, ink, papers and paint is a therapeutic process. When you combine that creative process with documenting your life and your story, well that is the best therapy I can think of. The process is so reflective. We are forced to stop, step back and look at our lives. Through my Scrapbooking journey I have often found myself much more appreciative of the little things, of the good in life. And, it is not all good, right? But, I find myself working through the harder times easier, too. I think that is because the creative process of memory keeping has really helped me to look for the good in everyday.
But, I could talk your ear off about why I love what I do, why I think it is important and why you should do it, too! But, today I just wanted to share my exciting news with you guys and give you the link to the Awesome Ladies Project classroom.
You can get all the details about the class HERE on the rukristin website.
Everyone has a story to tell. YOU are an awesome lady!
So, let's document your awesome lady story!
