Welcome back to another Blogging Friends Blog Hop!

I want to welcome all of you new visitors to my blog!  Thanks for following along our Hop!  Be sure to Subscribe on the right hand side of my blog so you don't miss out on our Blog Hop next month!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and we will be bringing you fun paper crafting ideas using Stampin' Up! products on the 1st of every month.  I hope you have been enjoying the Hop so far.  So many fun ideas from so many talented crafters!!!

You should have arrived here from Mary's Blog.
I always love her projects!

This month, we are sharing projects created with products from the recently released retiring list.  The new Stampin' Up! catalog will be coming out June 1st so we have to say goodbye to some of our old favorites to make room for all of the fun, new items!  If you would like me to send you a new catalog when it becomes available, Click Here to request one.

You can Click Here to see all of the retiring items.  They are only available while supplies last & many of them are at great sale prices so if you see something you want, don't delay!  There are also a bunch of items that were just added to the Clearance Rack, too so make sure you don't miss that, too!  They're going fast!

Mother's Day is just around the corner, so I challenged myself to create a card for the occasion using my absolute favorite, most used stamp set on the retiring list, Gorgeous Grunge and my favorite retiring stamp set from the Occasions Catalog, Oh So Succulent.  And, I sweetened the challenge by using my favorite retiring In-Color, Mint Macaron along with a bit of retiring ribbon.

I love the simplicity of this card!  Gorgeous Grunge is one of the most fun stamp sets to use.  It makes everyone an instant artist!

If you have been subscribing to my blog, you know I love simple!  And, this is a really simple, one layer card.  But, I also wanted to show you how you could easily step it up a bit by adding some cardstock layers to frame the stamped card front.

In the card below, I stamped on a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, layered on 4 1/8 x 5 3/8" piece of Sweet Sugar Plum, adhered to a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" Smoky Slate card base.

I also stepped up the card design by adding three little pearl embellishments.  I just love those teeny, tiny pearls!  They are on the retiring list, too and they have already sold out!  But, don't worry, they are just being repackaged and will be available in a new configuration in the new catalog.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you enjoyed this card idea.  I will be sharing a video tutorial later this week so make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss it!

At the end of this post you will find a product list of all of the items I used to create this card with links to my online store in case I have inspired you to do some shopping :)
